AMESEN PLAY N POSSUM

"Possum"

Possum was only shown for a short period of time. She always thought the show ring was a playground and just wanted to jump around everywhere! As we had others around the same age we decided to clip her off.
She has the sweetest head with correct dentition and is proving her wealth in the whelping box. 
Possum's first litter, sired by Aust. & N.Z. CH. Amahl Xingdru Tu is currently being shown - Karen Peacock has had lots of success with Aust. CH. Amesen Play Station, and also the sister Aust. CH. Amesen Play the Game co-owned with Selina Mobbs. Due to Selina's work commitment's Possum has only been shown lightly.
Possum is the dam of Aust. CH. Amesen Come Fly With Me and CH. Amesen I Believe I Can Fly. They were sired by Grand CH. Amesen Dark Shadow.
Possum's third and fourth litters litter were sired by Am. & BIS Australian Grand Champion Ta Sen Chic Choix Big Time Tipper (Imps USA), producing some great Lhasas - probably the best known is BISS BIS Aust. CH. Amesen Time After Time.

"Donna"

Donna is another of our lovely black girls. While not always wanting to play the 'show game', when she decides to show she is just stunning! Her more memorable wins include OPP SEX JUNIOR IN SHOW at both of the 2005 Easter Specialty Shows (being beaten by her brother Simon) and then the following week she went one better, winning JUNIOR IN SHOW at the Non Sporting Dog Club of NSW under Breed Specialist Mrs B Wood (USA).
Donna won multiple classes "In Group" at All Breed level and finished off her title with a JUNIOR IN GROUP. Now she is titled she will be clipped off to make room for some new up-and-coming youngsters in the ring.
Donna's first litter to Am. & Aust. CH. Ta Sen Chic Choix Big Time Tipper (Imp USA) and produced the litter that is in Young Stars - all four have been great winners.

AMESEN SUMMER HEATWAVE

"Summer"

Summer has been doing very well for such a young girl - born February, 2006. Summer is being shown for us by Deanne Lenz and has in 7 months of showing in Townsville and districts 349 points towards her Grand Championship, the best win was Runner-Up Best Exhibit in Show. She has won 7 Best Exhibit In Group and 6 Runner-up Best In Group and 7 Classes in Show - all at Championship shows.
Summer goes Best Intermediate in Show at the Lhasa Club of NSW Specialty Championship Show in November, 2007!
Summer will be staying in Sydney to be shown by Jenny for a few months due to the summer heat up in Townsville, but will return to Townsville in 2008.

Chrissey and her sister Annie (below) were always shown together and both of them were awarded several Classes In Group and the occasional Class In Show.

Annie competed against her sister Chrissie (above) and they managed to take quite a few Classes in Group and In Show.

"Nellie"

Always over shadowed by her brother but Nellie did win Best Puppy In Breed at Adelaide Royal. On the way to her title she had some good wins, some Best of Breed wins were 13 points and also got many Classes In Group - she has retired to maternal duties and her daughter Amesen Black Pearl is doing exceptionally well in South Australia.

"Molly"

Molly went to live with Mrs Collings for a while but decided she did not like showing so came back to live with us. Her son Amesen Midnight Special is a very nice black boy and we hope he will do well in the ring - see Photo of him in OUR BOYS.

"Ella"

Ella finished her title off with a Best of Breed just a few days before Jenny broke her ankle in 2007, so we arranged for her to have a haircut. She also won a few Classes In Group and was Best Puppy In Show at the 1st (a.m. show) Lhasa Apso CLub Show in 2007, under Lhasa Specialist Mr. Bruce Watson from Scotland. Ella was Reserve Challenge Bitch and Puppy On The Day at Sydney Royal 2007.

AMESEN RAISE THE STAKES

"Candy"

Candy started her show career with a bang with 4 Best Baby In Group and 2 Best Baby In Show. Also the winner of Best Puppy In Show under Mrs Jacqui Chalmers at the 2nd Lhasa Apso (p.m.) show at Easter 2007. Candy will have a litter in 2008 and we might grow her coat back for showing and her title.
